Lithuanian Apparel and Textile Industry Association and Cluster LATIA Export Development has joined the initiative of other business organizations to raise funds for physicians who are on the front lines of COVID-19 and who are exposed to the virus on a daily basis or who are already infected to purchase protective equipment.
The association directly contributed to the support of medics - the Lithuanian Confederation of Industrialists (LPK) added 1000 EUR to the account opened for this purpose.
LATIA sincerely thanks the clothing and textile companies that contributed to this campaign and transferred funds to the LPK account - A. and R. Baumilų TŪB Klasikinė tekstilė, UAB Gantas, AB Pakaita, UAB Sabalin.
In the country, as in the case of the COVID-19 virus raging all over the world, the Lithuanian clothing and textile business is feeling the consequences, but now is the time to turn to those who need help. On that occasion, the Lithuanian Association of Clothing and Textile Companies (LATIA) organized and transferred the support of 200 medical masks to the non-governmental orphanage SOS Children's Village in Vilnius.
LATIA truly thank Cluster LATIA Export Development UAB Eustilija that joined the support campaign!
